This is my hidden blade. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My blade is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I master my life. My blade, without me, is useless. Without my blade, I am useless. I must use my hidden blade for truth. I must kill faster than any enemy who is trying to kill me. I must kill him before he kills me. I will... My blade and I know that what counts in this war is not the lives we take, the silence of our attack, nor the moves we make. We know that it is the strikes that count. We will strike.... My hidden blade is human, even as I, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weakness, its strength, its parts, its accessories, its feel and its balance. I will keep my blade clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready. We will become part of each other. We will.... Before God I swear this creed. My hidden blade and I are the defenders of my world. We are the masters of our enemy. We are the saviors to all life. So be it, until victory is men’s and there is no enemy, but Peace.
